Non-Metallics

Our low vaccumm setting on the SEM often eliminates the requirement for goldsputtering, even in organic samples. Goldsputtering is used to prevent charging, but not necessary with our SEM system. Non-metals can be studied either with or without gold sputtering.

Houston Electron Microscopy, Inc. is able to analyze many materials; metals, alloys, plastics, polymers or composites, for  topographic imaging and or elemental analysis.
